7. Cloud Data Storage — Important Notice
TradeCalc Master stores your trading journal data on Google Firebase (Google Cloud Infrastructure). While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure data security and availability, please read the following carefully:
- Third-Party Cloud Dependency: Your data is hosted on Google Firebase servers. We are not Google and have no control over Firebase's infrastructure, uptime, or internal policies.
- No Guarantee of Permanent Storage: We do not guarantee that cloud-stored data will be available at all times or forever. Data loss due to Firebase outages, Google policy changes, force majeure events, or infrastructure failures is beyond our control and liability.
- Data Loss Disclaimer: TradeCalc Master shall not be held legally responsible for any loss of trading journal data caused by cloud server failures, accidental deletion, account issues, or third-party service disruptions.
- Account Access: Access to your data requires a valid login. If your account is deactivated, suspended, or deleted, data access may be lost permanently.
✅ Triple Backup System — Your Protection
To protect you from cloud data loss, TradeCalc Master provides a Triple Data Backup System at no extra cost:
- Backup 1 — Firebase Cloud (Primary): All trades auto-saved to secure Google Cloud servers in real time.
- Backup 2 — Local PC Download (Manual): Download your complete journal as a single JSON file (
trading_journal_backup.json) anytime. One file, same name — overwritten each time, never duplicated. - Backup 3 — Google Drive Sync (Optional Auto): Connect your Google Drive once and your data auto-syncs after every save. Same single file in your Drive — always updated, never duplicated.
User Responsibility: We strongly recommend enabling at least one additional backup (PC Download or Google Drive). If a user has not enabled any backup and cloud data is lost, TradeCalc Master cannot be held liable for that data loss.

By enabling at least one backup option, users fully protect themselves against any cloud-related data loss and waive any legal claims against TradeCalc Master for such loss.
9. Limitation of Liability
TradeCalc Master and its owners shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or trading opportunities
- Any decisions made based on information from this platform
- Technical errors, bugs, or platform downtime
- Cloud data loss from third-party (Firebase/Google) infrastructure failures
- Data loss where user has not enabled available backup options
By using this platform, you agree that you use it at your own risk.
